Prysmian wins cable contract on French floating wind

The Italian cable maker is to provide the power cable system for a floating wind project offshore of Gruissan, France.

In a consortium with Asso.subsea, Italian cable manufacturer Prysmian has signed a EUR 30m contract with Réseau de Transport d'Électricité (RTE) on delivery of a subsea export cable system to be used at floating wind farm Eolmed, Prysmian writes in a statement.
