The coronavirus pandemic hasn't taken out the offshore wind industry. Despite many associated challenges, 6.1GW in new wind at sea was installed in 2020, whereas 2019's 6.2GW still holds the record for the largest annual capacity expansion, shows the Global Wind Energy Council's (GWEC) latest Global Offshore Wind Report.
