Vattenfall enters floating wind

Practically every major power company and infrastructure developer like CIP now appear on the list of companies prequalified to bid in France's floating wind tender. Only Ørsted remains conspicuously absent.

The French government has prequalified ten candidates to participate in the country's tender for 750MW of floating wind offshore of Brittany – a field of players that, if anything, underscores the major interest in the technology shown by all corners of the industry.
