GE joins Turkish company on new photovoltaics

A deal between Turkey's Kalyon and GE Renewable Energy entails that the country as of late next year will have installed an additional 1,080MW of solar capacity.

GE Renewable Energy has announced that it will provide its FlexInverter solar panel technology to two photovoltaic energy farms in Turkey's Konya Karapinar province. The solar farms will have respective capacities of 270MW and 810MW and are expected to enter operation in December 2022.
