OX2 seeks Natura 2000 permit for offshore wind farm
Swedish developer OX2 is applying for a Natura 2000 permit to set up offshore wind project Galatea-Galene in Kattegat off Sweden's west coast.

If permission is granted by the County Administrative Board of Halland, the offshore wind farm will generate up to 6-7TWh of power a year once installed. The project is divided into two areas in the Kattegat sea, offshore of Varberg and Falkenberg on Sweden's west coast.
