Enercon CEO steps down after only a year

The German turbine maker is prepared to take "decisive steps" for its business efficiency next year, Enercon says, as CEO quickly resigns citing personal reasons.

11 months ago, Hans-Dieter Kettwig resigned after 33 years as chief executive of German wind turbine manufacturer Enercon. Meanwhile, his replacement, Momme Janssen, won't achieve quite the same track record, neither at the company, where he's worked since 2016, nor as CEO. He will leave the company by year's end citing personal reasons.
