TotalEnergies, Iberdrola join up on Norwegian offshore wind

Alongside a newly established Norwegian developer, the two energy giants make their entrance in the fight to develop offshore wind in Norway.

Two of the remaining giants have now announced their participation in competing for Norway's first large-scale offshore wind. French oil and gas supermajor TotalEnergies and Spanish utility Iberdrola join up with Valinor's newly established Norwegian company Norsk Havvind in bidding on both floating wind and fixed-bottom offshore wind in the coming tender of expectedly 4.5GW.
