Siemens Gamesa switches partner in China

United Power secures the license for Siemens Gamesa's 11MW model in China following the usual partner's recent launch of its own offshore wind turbine.

When the newest generation of Siemens Gamesa's de-facto offshore wind turbines are set up off China's coast, the units will bear a new name on their sides. The wind OEM has just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to license its 11MW unit to China Energy Investment's turbine manufacturer, United Power.
