Sif to produce more, larger monopiles

The Dutch foundation maker plans to secure specialist support for producing foundations of 11.5 meters in diameter, already eying considerable upscales.

Wind turbines are only getting bigger, and foundations naturally have to keep up. That's why Dutch manufacturer Sif is planning production of monopiles with diameters of 11.5 meters as well as plans to scale up to 15 meters.
