Codan strengthens lead in offshore wind insurance

The Danish company now provides insurance for all commercial offshore wind farm in Taiwanese waters – and six out of ten globally.

Insurance provider Codan Danmark has signed a deal to insure construction of Taiwanese offshore wind farm Zhong Neng, currently being developed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and China Steel Corporation and deploying 31 model V174-9.6MW wind turbines made by Vestas.
