Bank estimates Esvagt worth nearly EUR 1bn after ownership change

DNB Markets estimates that Esvagt has a value of nearly DKK 7bn after 3i Infrastructure opted to buy the entire offshore and wind carrier amid a sales process. "We were surprised, but in a positive way," says Esvagt CEO Peter Lytzen.

British private equity firm 3i Infrastructure, which recently became the sole owner of Esvagt, wasn't satisfied with the acquisition bids made for the Danish offshore and wind service operator and thus chose to make use of an option to fully purchase the company.
