Media: Ørsted investors unimpressed by Mads Nipper's first year

Ørsted's share price is nearly half of what it was when Mads Nipper took over the top job a year ago, leading to concerns among a number of investors, according to Danish business media InsideBusiness.

Ørsted's market value has halved since Mads Nipper, former CEO of Danish water pump manufacturer Grundfos, took over utility's top job in January 2021, writes Danish business media InsideBusiness. The Danish State and major investors, including state pension fund ATP and the biggest private pension company in Denmark, PFA, have lost huge sums from their Ørsted investments in the course of 2021. For PFA alone, losses sum to DKK 1bn (EUR 134.4m).
