Siemens Energy demands full focus on onshore wind

The majority owner of Siemens Gamesa questions whether there has been enough focus on operations management. On the other hand, the CEO skirts the question on whether a full acquisition is imminent.

It will take time to turn around Siemens Gamesa. CEO of the majority owner Siemens Energy Christian Bruch didn't mince words during Wednesday's presentation of the quarterly accounts, which were heavily influenced by the deep deficit at the wind turbine producer. The third downgrade in just as many quarters, which cost Siemens Gemesa CEO Andreas Nauen his job last week, was "frustrating", and Jochen Eickholt is his natural replacement.
