Australian airline signs big SAF supply deal

Australian airline Qantas inks a supply contract for sustainable fuel to power flights between the South Pacific country and California in efforts to reduce carbon emissions, reports Bloomberg News.

The agreement entails enough green jet fuel to power flights between Australia and San Fransisco.

Sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) supplier Aemetis will provide almost 20 million liters of product annually starting from 2025.

Qantas is looking to source SAF deliveries both for US and international aiports.
