Vestas wins 30MW order in Italy

The Danish turbine maker will deliver 30MW for an Italian wind project.

Vestas has won a 30MW order for Italian wind farm Licata in Sicily, the company reports Friday afternoon.

The order is for seven V150-4.2MW turbines, of which six will come with output of 4.3MW.

The order also includes a 15-year Active Output Management 5000 service agreement.

The turbines are scheduled for delivery in Q3 of 2023 and are expected to enter operation in the Q4 of 2023.
