Maersk rumored to be behind large-scale wind turbine installation vessel at Singapore yard

Maersk could be headed for a larger-scale entry into offshore wind than previously reported. Rumor has it that the shipping company is behind a large wind turbine installation vessel, which will most likely be operated by Maersk Supply Service. Maersk declines to comment on the rumors to ShippingWatch.

There are indications that Maersk could be headed for an even bigger entry into offshore wind than previously reported – with an order for one of the wind installation vessels to the tune of billions of Danish kroner.
