Van Oord books big setback for 2021

The Dutch company lost EUR 62m in 2021, when the offshore wind business went through a particularly dramatic downturn. Van Oord maintains optimism, however, after rebounding in the second half year on account of having a burgeoning order book.

2021 was still somewhat marked by the coronavirus pandemic for Dutch marine contractor Van Oord, which operates within segments such as offshore wind, dredging and oil and gas.
