”A little less conversation, a little more action, please.”

So sang Elvis Presley back in 1970, but now roughly the same words come from Vestas Chief Executive Henrik Andersen in regard to the green energy transition.

He tells Danish business daily Børsen that less talk and more action is needed, also underscoring that no single country in Europe has the lead in transformational terms.

According to the CEO, regulatory framework and sluggish permitting processes are at fault for the green transition moving forward at pace slower than needed.

”It’s not for the lack of money. Every time we have a project, it’s oversubscribed ten to 15 times. This is merely a question of licenses, licenses, licenses,” Andersen tells the media.
