TotalEnergies and Engie mull acquisition of solar company

French Casino Group confirms rumors that a sale of subsidiary Greenyellow is in the offing. TotalEnergies and Engie are supposedly both interested in acquiring the solar company, writes French business media.


French company Casino Group, which operates the Casino supermarket chain, plans to sell a 76% stake in energy company Greenyellow, which develops and operates solar farms and produces renewable energy.

The news was announced by Casino Group in a press release issued Monday.
