Siemens Gamesa bags order in India

The turbine manufacturer tops its first GW for the 3.X platform in the Indian market with an order for 133MW.

Nearly two years after the launch of the 3MW platform in the Indian market, Siemens Gamesa’s orders now surpass the first GW. Singaporean power producer Vena Energy has placed an order for 133MW in connection with a project in Indian state of Karnataka, where the turbine maker will deliver 37 SG 2.6-145 units, with installation slated for the following fiscal year.
