Vestas bags floating wind order

A consortium involving TotalEnergies among others has made final investment decision on French demonstration project Eolmed and converts conditional order into fixed order.

Vestas is reaping the benefit of yet another conditional order from its MHI Vestas days. This time around, it concerns French demonstration project Eolmed with a capacity of 30MW. A consortium formed by TotalEnergies, BW Ideol and Qair has made a final investment decision on the project, which involves three model V164-10.0MW units.
