Vattenfall pursues hydrogen production in the North Sea

If Vattenfall wins the Hollandse Kust West tender, the Swedish utility plans to set up the world’s first hydrogen cluster as an attachment to an offshore wind farm.

Vattenfall is drawing up further plans for hydrogen production combined with wind turbines.

The Swedish utility is therefore mulling a hydrogen cluster in the Dutch part of the North Sea in connection with the Hollandse Kust West offshore wind farm if Vattenfall wins the tender.
