Eurowind gears up for 2.5GW renewable energy hubs

Five energy clusters combining solar and wind energy, batteries, and green hydrogen could be ready within a few years, says CEO and calls on politicians to let the market handle the expansion efforts rather than employing top-down control.

Last year, onshore turbines and solar panels were mere decimals away from generating 10TWh of electricity. This is the initial culmination of a renewable energy spanning four decades. With the energy agreement adopted by the Danish parliament the week before last, the process is set to quicken. Over the next seven and a half years, onshore renewable energy generation must quadruple.
