Offshore wind leases totaling 8GW get approval in UK
British authorities have approved the six winning projects of the Crown Estate’s auction in early 2021, and now the final agreements can be drawn up.

In early 2021, RWE, BP, and TotalEnergies, among others, secured licenses to set up just under 8GW of offshore wind in British waters for a total price of GBP 879m.
