Cadeler CEO: Customers hunt for capacity – boosting demand in offshore wind segment

Offshore wind turbine carrier Cadeler has throughout the summer secured three deals, and the order book is piling up. ”Demand is incredibly strong right now,” says chief executive to ShippingWatch.

There is plenty to do for a long time to come at offshore wind turbine carrier Cadeler, which has a filled-up order book up until the end of 2026.

According to CEO Mikkel Gleerup, large customers are hunting for available capacity, resulting in enormous demand for services such as installation of wind turbines and foundations, which is the specialty of the publicly listed company.
