Siemens Gamesa plans 2,900 job cuts

As a part of company strategy, the German-Spanish wind turbine manufacturer plans to eliminate roughly 2,900 staff positions globally.

As part of launching its Mistral strategy meant to improve business performance by, for instance, identifying cost-cutting synergies and pursuing growth prospects, Siemens Gamesa announces plans to reduce its global personnel head count by around 2,900.
