Machinists merge to accommodate heavier wind sector demands

Three machine manufacturers in northern Denmark merged this weekend into a single company, Sterke, in a move intended to gather competencies to serve the wind industry, both at home and abroad, says new director.

Roughly 150 personnel employed at three Danish machining firms, Aalborg Maskinfabrik, Aalborg Maskinfabrik Stål and Maskinfabrikken Fuglsang Eftf will henceforth work side by side in a single facility.
