Nordex gets 137MW order from Poland

The supply contract, placed in September and entailing 37 wind turbines, is awarded to the German OEM by Lithuanian power company Ignitis Group.

Nordex has won an order to supply a Polish project with wind turbines with combined capacity totaling up to 137MW, the German company informs in a statement Tuesday.

The supply contract, in fact made in September, is placed by a subsidiary of Lithuanian power utility Ignitis Group, with the order including 37 model N117/3600 units purchased for installation at Poland’s Silesia 2 project.

A buyer’s option for one more wind turbine as well as a 15-year service agreement are also included in the deal.

Delivery is scheduled to begin during the summer of 2023, Nordex writes.
