Nordex gets 137MW order from Poland

Nordex has won an order to supply a Polish project with wind turbines with combined capacity totaling up to 137MW, the German company informs in a statement Tuesday.
The supply contract, in fact made in September, is placed by a subsidiary of Lithuanian power utility Ignitis Group, with the order including 37 model N117/3600 units purchased for installation at Poland’s Silesia 2 project.
A buyer’s option for one more wind turbine as well as a 15-year service agreement are also included in the deal.
Delivery is scheduled to begin during the summer of 2023, Nordex writes.
