Hywind Tampen supplies first power

The world’s largest floating wind farm upon completion, Hywind Tampen has now generated first power for North Sea oil field Gullfaks, with seven of 11 wind turbines totaling 60MW set to fully commission this year.

Electricity generation began at floating wind farm Hywind Tampen on Nov. 13, Equinor reports in a press statement.
