Velux signs PPA with Baywa r.e.

The Danish window manufacturer has contracted offtake from two forthcoming solar farms in Spain in a deal with German developer Baywa r.e.

Velux, like many other companies, is seeking progress with its climate goals for the coming years, and as a part of efforts to fully eliminate in-house emissions by 2030 at the latest, the manufacturer has signed a power purchase agreement sourcing renewable power from German developer Baywa r.e, the Danish company informs in a statement.
