Vestas wins 126MW order from Ireland

The Danish OEM receives its second onshore supply contract from the island nation within the same number of days.

Vestas has won yet another order from Ireland, this time for 126MW.

The deal entails 21 model V150-6.0MW units with an attached 20-year service agreement of the AOM 5000 variety, the manufacturer informs in a press statement.

Utility Bord na Móna has ordered the turbines for onshore wind project Derrinlough.

Delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024, with commissioning set for the third quarter of the same year.

Tuesday this week, the Danish OEM reported receiving a 56MW supply contract from Ireland.
