Ørsted takes FID on group's largest solar project to date

The Danish power company makes its final investment decision to develop a photovoltaic project named Mockingbird Solar Center in Texas.

Ørsted launches development of its biggest solar project to date, Mockingbird Solar Center, to be installed in Texas. The facility will upon completion achieve combined capacity of 471MW, with commissioning scheduled for 2024, the utility confirms in a statement Friday.
