11 wind developers back common methodology for calculating carbon footprint

Carbon emissions ensue from the energy generation, but a new common standard will help ensure the lowest possible CO2 footprint resulting from the offshore wind build-out, reports Danish utility Ørsted after joining forces with consultancy Carbon Trust and ten other developers to develop such a methodology.
