Scatec exits 2022 with a new loss

Norwegian solar developer closes the book on 2022 reporting a combined loss of NOK 1bn. Conversely, Scatec notes major sales to raise capital for new investments.

After two quarters with black bottom line figures, Scatec notes yet another deficit in Q4, thus exiting 2022 as it started when the Russian invasion of Ukraine resulting in the solar develop booking an impairment worth NOK 770m (EUR 70.2m). The first quarter of the year brought about a consolidated deficit of NOK 1bn.
