OX2 forms hydrogen partnership with Orkla

As part of efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the Norwegian conglomerate agrees to buy hydrogen from the Swedish developer from 2025.

Oslo-based conglomerate Orkla signs on as offtaker of hydrogen made by OX2 at the Swedish developer’s electrolysis plant in the town of Saltvik in the Åland archipelago. The locally produced H2 will replace imported propane for use in local production, OX2 informs in a statement.
