New green fuel requirements could become a nuisance for carriers

There is just about a year and a half until the shipping industry will be forced to tank up on green fuels, ending the era where companies could simply tank either heavy or light fuel oil. The fast-approaching deadline may come as a surprise to many carriers, states the Norwegian classification company, DNV.
