RWE to deploy recyclable blades on Thor

The majority of the turbines on the future Danish offshore wind farm will be equipped with recyclable rotor blades.

Back in April, Siemens Gamesa and RWE announced that the OEM’s newly launched green turbine towers would be introduced on the 1GW offshore wind farm Thor in Denmark. And now, the two companies disclose that 40 of the total 72 turbines will be equipped with recyclable rotor blades.
