Not everyone has been enthusiastic about the idea of Virtual Reality courses in the wind sector, but according to one CEO, the technology can help alleviate the industry’s staffing problem.

Until now, when a wind turbine technician attends a BTT (Basic Technical Training) course, it has been done at a physical training center. But it’s costly and time-consuming to send your employees on a course that lasts several days with room and board – and sometimes takes place on the other side of the world.
