Green Power Denmark: The UK government has squeezed the lemon too hard

No players chose to bid in the latest round of offshore wind subsidies in the UK, which should set alarm bells ringing across Europe and Denmark, according to the industry organization.

The fifth round of the UK subsidy auction Contract for Difference has flopped significantly, as no players chose to bid on offshore wind. This is a cause for concern for Danish industry organization Green Power Denmark.
