Ørsted is rejected in New York

New York rejects demands from Ørsted, Equinor and BP for an extra DKK 175 billion to build their offshore wind projects. A deal is a deal, says Commission President. (updated)

Another hurdle has been added to the developers in the US offshore wind industry. The New York Public Service Commission (NYPSC) has unanimously rejected the request from Ørsted/Eversource and Equinor/BP to increase the settlement price of their offshore wind projects in the state.
