WPD secures grid connection agreement for 740MW Swedish wind

German company WPD has secured the grid connection for the two onshore wind farms, Broboberget and Lannaberget.

A rather important step has been taken in WPD’s plans to bring 740MW of onshore wind power to Sweden. The German company has received environmental permits for grid connection to its two wind farms, Broboberget and Lannaberget, which will have a combined capacity of 740MW, WPD writes in a press release.
