Wednesday didn’t fit in very well with the currently dominant doomsday narrative about the green transition. Vestas presented a much better quarterly result than expected, while NKT delivered the highest operating profit in the company’s history. Just as the cable manufacturer’s operating margin of 8.1% almost smells of the good old days.
