Vestas has won a 270 megawatt (MW) order in the United States.

The wind turbine manufacturer announced this in a statement on Thursday.

The order covers 60 V163-4.5MW turbines, which will be delivered to an unnamed project for a subsidiary of Engie North America. Vestas will also receive a 20-year AOM 5000 service agreement.

The wind turbines are expected to be delivered from the beginning of the third quarter of 2024 and will be in operation from the first quarter of the following year.
