Vestas explains cuts: Wants to limit the number of layoffs

Vestas is reducing its workforce in onshore wind production and will hire 300 people for offshore wind turbines. The company will keep the number of layoffs down, says the company spokesperson.

Vestas has today reduced its Danish onshore wind turbine workforce by 200, which affects the company’s production in Ringkøbing, Vestas’ home town.
