Germany successfully closes final onshore tender of the year

Despite a year of under-subscribed auctions and drawdowns, Germany has doubled its tendered capacity compared to last year.

Despite a lack of interest in the full tender capacity, Germany can successfully close the last onshore wind tender of the year. Of a total of 2086 MW offered, a total of 1967 MW has been applied for in the now completed round.
