Danish electrolysis factory receives EU grant

The electrolysis factory in Herning, which will be inaugurated next year with a capacity of half a gigawatt, has received support from the EU Innovation Fund.

The production of electrolysis plants in Herning is now getting a helping hand from Brussels. The EU’s innovation fund has awarded EUR 94 million in support for Topsoe’s future factory, which is expected to be able to supply plants with the company’s SOIC technology with 500 MW annually from next year.
