Vestas boosts workforce following US order surge

The Danish wind turbine manufacturer needs to hire significantly more people after several years of stagnation in the wake of a terrific fourth quarter in terms of orders.

With the majority of fourth quarter orders placed in the US, the market, which has been dormant for some time, is set to pick up. This also means that a good number of employees will need to be hired for the factories, which have been running at a slower speed up until now, writes Danish business daily Børsen
