New CIP company to mature energy island projects before divestment

An alternative approach to traditional offshore wind development is needed, according to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, which sees great benefits in producing hydrogen directly at sea.

If the political goal of reaching 300 GW of offshore wind in the North Sea by 2050 is to be achieved, new thinking is needed, according to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, where partner Thomas Dalsgaard, who is responsible for energy islands, points out that today there is only around 20 GW.
