European Energy advances two Danish wind farms with Total Energies, drops Omø Syd project

The expansion of renewable energy in eastern Denmark takes another step backwards after European Energy abandons the offshore wind farm after 12 years of struggle.

Danish wind farms Lillebælt South and Jammerland Bugt came a big step closer to realization last week. As the most concrete part of the Scandinavian offshore wind partnership between European Energy and Total Energies, the French oil company is taking over the majority of the two near-shore offshore wind projects.
