Vestas to develop wind portfolio in Spain

The turbine manufacturer will act as chief developer for French project developer on 220 MW wind projects on its old home turf in Castilla y León.

Vestas has set itself up well and truly for a nice order in its traditional business. In a joint venture with developer Tagenergy, the wind turbine manufacturer will act as lead developer on the 220 MW Spanish portfolio of development projects that are unlikely to be put up against competitors’ turbines.
